Greek Experience Ministry

(Formerly Greek School)

“If the violin is the most perfect musical instrument, the Greek language is the violin of the human thought.” Helen Keller

Originally begun by Presvytera Kay Efstathiou and reignited by Presvytera Eleni Palumbis in 2012, Nativity of Christ is proud to offer Greek language classes for all ages and skill levels. Our Greek School teachers are now leading the program via committee to establish the most effective leadership process for the needs of the school. Our mission is to provide Greek language development in our community through educational strategies that enhance conversation, reading and writing skills.

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece and moved to Marin County in 2011. I met my husband in Greece and we have an amazing daughter. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s health and I have taught at the Greek School since 2012. My focus since that time is teaching the Greek language to children and adults of every level. I believe that each child learns differently and at their own pace, thus I try to customize the lessons according to the needs of each student.
