First Annual Marin Greek Festival 5 & 10k Walk/Run to Benefit Alex Madias
Our 1st Annual Greek Week Run was a great success. Look for more information on 2019 Greek Week Events beginning in Spring 2019.
Join us on Saturday, May 19th for our walk and run. It will be led by marathon man Dean Karnazes to start Greek Week.
We will be walking and running in honor of Alex Madias. All proceeds will be donated to Alex’s recovery. Please donate, join the team, and/or create your own fundraising page to raise money!
When: Saturday, May 19
Where: 3 Hamilton Landing, Novato
Time: 7:00 – 7:30 AM Bib Pick Up, 8:00 AM Start (Self-Seeded Start)
Distance: 5k & 10k Run/Walk
The race course begins and ends at the Hamilton YMCA, 3 Hamilton Landing, in Novato. The 5K runners/walkers will traverse through the old Hamilton Coast Guard Housing area. The 10K course runners/walkers will also traverse through the old Hamilton Coast Guard housing area and continue along the waterfront passing by the single largest wetlands restoration project on the West Coast and venture onto the newly opened portion of the Bay Area Circle Trail. It’s a fun and beautiful race course!
Get your official time by our timing company, bibs, aid stations, and have FUN! A competitor shirt is included with race registration. (Register by May 13th to ensure a race shirt in your size.) More Information and Registration
